Online registration for the 2024-25 school year will open on Monday, May 6th.
If your child/children will be returning to Signal Hill SD 181 for the 24-25 school year, you will need to complete Parts 1 and 2 of the online registration process. If you complete registration between May 6-16, your child will receive their choice of either a full-size candy bar/candy treat OR a dress-down pass.
To complete registration, you will login to the TeacherEase mobile app OR visit www.teacherease.com
Starting on Monday, May 6th, you will be prompted to complete registration as soon as you login to TeacherEase. You will only be updating student information (part 1) and health information (part 2). You will not need to pay fees until after July 8.
We will periodically check for completed registrations and candy bars will be handed out on May 8, 10, 15, and 17.
Please help us prepare for the 24-25 school year by registering online NOW. Again, you will NOT need to pay fees until after July 8th.

Signal Hill School District’s Chromebook end of the year procedures.
Graduating 8th graders must turn in their assigned device and charger by Tuesday, May 14th.
K-7th grade students must turn in their assigned device, case, and charger by their assigned day (see schedule below). **Teachers may request for materials to be sent in PRIOR to the due date to ensure all materials are in the building and ready for check in.
Each device will be carefully inspected by the technology department. Inspection forms will be used to document any missing items/damage. The technology director will reach out if any fees need to be assessed. Your child will come home with a “receipt” documenting what was turned in on their assigned collection day. Items returned AFTER the assigned date should go to the main office.
Per the SHS Chromebook Loan Agreement signed prior to release of the chrome device, families who opted NOT to pay chromebook insurance will be required to pay for any damage. Fees are estimated costs (subject to change) of chromebook parts and replacements:
Screen replacement - up to $90
Lost/damaged charger - up to $20
Damaged Keyboard - up to $50
Replace entire chromebook - $279
SHS Technology Department will remotely disable any Chromebooks not turned in by the deadline and a bill for the full replacement value ($279) will be sent. Before turning in the device, students will need to ensure that the device is fully charged and in the school-issued case. Lost/damaged cases will accrue a replacement value of $10.
Deadlines:
May 14th: 8th grade chromebooks, chargers DUE (no cases)
May 22nd: 6-7 chromebooks, chargers and cases DUE
May 22nd: 3-5 chromebooks, chargers and cases DUE
May 23rd: K-2 chromebooks, chargers and cases DUE
